Life Safety Division
The Bennett Fire Marshal oversees, and is responsible for, the operations of the Life Safety Division. The Office of the Fire Marshal provides community education, fire preparedness, investigations, as well as assesses the district for fire conditions and preventative mitigation operations. Captain Caleb Connor serves as the district's Fire Marshal as well as the District Fire Investigator. Captain Connor investigates any fire that is within the Bennett Fire Protection District.
Bennett-Watkins Fire Rescue stands ready to assist our District in Fire Prevention and Education.
We are also happy to provide free fire safety inspections to our residents when requested. If you'd like us to come out and identify potential hazards and offer advice specific to you and your home, please let us know by calling our Administrative Offices at (303) 644-3572. Please do not call 911 or any non-emergent dispatch number to schedule routine inspections.
Station tours can be taken at any time, simply stop by station 91 and ask the Firefighters on duty to see what they do! You can also use the tab marked "public education request" to request a station tour and we will do our best to accommodate you. Please remember that the Firefighters remain in a constant ready state, so any tour may be cut short by the need to provide emergency assistance. If the Firefighters appear to be out of the station, they may be on a call or performing day to day duties, but will be back quickly and will be happy to give you a tour when they return.
